Question

Which are the closest airports for guests flying into town?

Answer

West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is the closest to all the events. There are several direct flights each day from various larger airports, such as Boston, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, and Dallas. In terms of airlines, Delta, American, United, Jet Blue, and Southwest all service PBI. Since the reception is in West Palm Beach and the Ceremony in Jupiter (approximately 15 miles to the north of West Palm Beach), PBI is the recommended airport to fly in and out of for the wedding. Ft. Lauderdale International (FLL) is approximately 45 miles from West Palm Beach to the south. It is a larger airport with many more direct connections than PBI. This would be our second choice to fly in and out of. Miami International (MIA) is approximately 70 miles to the south from West Palm Beach. This would be our last choice to fly in and out of given that 70 miles of traffic will make you want to divorce your current spouse. This is our least favorite airport to fly in and out of... to be honest we try to avoid it at all costs.

Question

Where should we stay in town (for travelling folk)?

Answer

The Ceremony is in Jupiter, FL. The Reception is in West Palm Beach, FL Our recommendation would be to find a location in the West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, or North Palm Beach area for a hotel. All major brands are present. Given that the majority of invitees are from in-town we have not blocked a set of rooms at any specific location. For our out of town or international guests, please let us know if you are having trouble finding a place to stay and we are more than happy to help.

Question

I lost my RSVP card what do I do?

Answer

Please see the RSVP section of this website. There is a space you can RSVP for both the Ceremony and the Reception. If we have received your card we have filled it out on the website to help us keep ultimate count.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We being the simple creatures we are (yeah we didn't keep a straight face writing that either) we really want our guests to be comfortable. Our wedding will be at the end of May, which means there may be rain and it's likely to be warm. We request that our guests come in what we call lovingly, Florida Fancy. What is Florida Fancy you ask? It's a little tropical, a little stylish, and a lot comfortable!!! Hawaiian prints, sundresses with bright tropical colors or fun floral prints, shorts, and sandals are all perfect choices. We do NOT recommend wearing long pants or long shirts. We do request no suits, ties, or high heels. It's the beach -- can you imagine walking around in 4-inch pumps?! Light, breathable fabrics come highly recommended. Don't forget the sunscreen! The dress code remains the same for both the reception and the ceremony. Hats are also ok and encouraged.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Ceremony - Starts at 10:00 AM. We HIGHLY recommend getting there early (approximately one-half hour or 30 minutes) so you have a place to park and can walk to the beach comfortably. Reception - Starts at 4:00 PM. We recommend arriving to the venue approximately one-half hour early (30 minutes), so you'll have plenty of time to find the venue, valet your car, and scope out the food before the party starts!

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes, we are registered at Honeyfund. In lieu of more physical items (please save me from John's cast-iron cookware collection), we kindly request the gift of experiences for those who are able and wish to give. You can find a link to our registry in the main menu on the top of this page. We are leaving all gifts unopened until after the ceremony and reception. We are notified that a gift has been received but will not know who gifted it until we have opened it.

Question

Where do we park at the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Ceremony We recommend parking at Carlin Park and walking south (the ocean will be on your left) to beach access #58. Carlin Park is beach access #60. Reception There is free valet parking located on the SE side of the building, right off of Clare Avenue. You can simply drop your car off and let the valet know that you've arrived for our wedding reception party. They will take care of the parking headache from there!

Question

Are children allowed at the Ceremony/Reception

Answer

YES !! This is a family affair. Several of our guests have children and they are welcome as long as they can be as well behaved as the rest of the guests (knowing some of our guests your children may be better behaved). The ceremony is believed to be around 20 or so minutes in length on the beach but we will be there for an hour with pictures etc. The reception is 4 hours long. You know your children best and what they would be able to and not be able to handle.

Question

I'm hungry. What are the reception dinner plans?

Answer

Our reception is being held at City Food Hall in West Palm Beach. You will receive a $50/per person gift card to use as you'd like for all your food and drink. These can be used at any of the restaurants or bars on the premises, and at any time throughout our reception party. We can't even decide when or what WE want for dinner, let alone force that upon our friends and family! All guests are free to grab food/drink and bring it home later from any of the restaurants, and if you don't use part or all of your gift card, you may come back and use it another day. https://www.cityfoodhall.com/grandview Here are our notes on the restaurants located at our venue: Ramen Lab Eatery - Authentic ramen joint with other Asian inspired dishes such as beef bulgogi, which we happily devoured! Clare Ave Grille - Handcrafted burgers and chicken - we had their loaded fries they were quite tasty! Cesart Boutique Delights - Fresh soup, salad and sandwich place. Their specialty lemonade is superb, we had their mozzarella focaccia and Italian sandwiches which we shared. So tasty!! Caribbean Fire Side Bistro- Jamaican cuisine with jerk chicken, goat, spicy patties, and some of the tastiest plantains (we would know). Joi Poke and Sushi - Flavorful poke bowls and sushi with many options available. We have not tried this place out yet, but feel free! Drunk Tacos - One of the highlights of our first trip to the venue - Incredibly tasty tacos that frankly sold us on this place. Was this the best fresh corn tortilla I've ever had? Yes. Crust & Co - One of the tastiest personal pizzas we've ever had (with burrata). Wood fired, oven baked, bliss... We forced ourselves to get one to go and ended up eating half of it right there. CRV Rotisserie - this is a new restaurant coming in time for the wedding that should have subs/rotisserie type foods. It's not yet open so we can't comment on it

Question

I have a food allergy, are there options for me?

Answer

Yes there are definitely options for you. We have decided to go a less traditional route for our wedding. You will be given a gift card with $50 loaded on it for each person in your party. With that you will be able to choose from any of the restaurants at our reception held at city food hall. The restaurants are happy to accommodate a multitude of allergies.

Question

Are there assigned seats?

Answer

Ceremony: There are no assigned seats for the majority of the ceremony. There may be a section of seats for our family members so they can be in the front row, but beyond that there is no particular side or place to sit that is assigned. Reception: Our reception will not have assigned seats. Each guest will receive a seating card with your gift card upon getting to the reception. You will write your name and put it at the seat/table of your choosing.

Question

I don't live in the area what do we do with the extra funds on the gift cards?

Answer

Prior to leaving you can put your unused gift certificate in the "card box" and they will be happily recycled. If you live in the area and wish to continue to use them, please do so as our gift to you.
