When should I RSVP by?

Formal invitations will be mailed in June 2026. RSVPs by August 1, 2026, are appreciated.

Are guests invited to both the wedding and ceremony?

Answer

We are celebrating a Catholic Mass on a Friday afternoon at a historic church that is special to us. Due to limited seating capacity, guests who are invited to the wedding ceremony will receive an invitation for both the ceremony and reception. Thank you for understanding! We look forward to celebrating with all of our loved ones together at the evening reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. Guests whose invitation indicates attendance at the ceremony are kindly asked to arrive at 20-30 minutes prior to allow for parking and seating.

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Complimentary parking is available for guests attending Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The RiverPlace Parking Garage, located at the corner of Bank Street SE and 2nd Street SE, offers free parking during the ceremony using the instructions below: To receive complimentary parking, guests may: Use a smartphone to scan the QR code located at the back of the church and complete a brief registration for the parking system, or provide their license plate number to a greeter at the back of the church, who will be happy to assist. Metered street parking is also available in the surrounding area.

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Yes. A paid parking ramp is located directly across the street from the reception venue and offers the convenience of an underground entrance into the building. Limited metered street parking is also available nearby.

Is transportation provided between the hotels and the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Transportation arrangements will be finalized closer to the wedding date. Should transportation be provided, details will be shared on this website and communicated to guests in advance. However, if you plan to stay at one of the hotels on this website, we encourage you to stay parked at the hotel and take one of the ride share services that are easy and readily available downtown. For those who prefer to make their own arrangements, parking is readily available near the ceremony and reception venues.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. This event is cocktail attire for a fall evening. A jacket or wrap is suggested. Remember your dancing shoes!
