Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kayla Carpenter and John Walsh
Before the welcome drinks, between the ceremony and reception or maybe on Sunday before traveling home, here are some of our Tahoe City favorite places we recommend seeing and experiencing! We’d also love to hear about your favorites as well!
Tahoe Wine Collective

Tahoe Wine Collective

760 North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City, CA 96145

This wine bar is one of our favorites in Tahoe City! On Sunday, they are hosting a pop-up chef for a five-course meal and wine pairing!

Tahoe National Brewing Company

Tahoe National Brewing Company

850 North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City, CA 96145

Our reception venue is also open to the public on Friday and Sunday from 4-11 pm. Enjoy a sneak peak at the amazing craft beers and late-night pizza we will be serving at our reception!

North Lake Tahoe Trail System

North Lake Tahoe Trail System

All along the water front starting at Lake Forest Road is a bike trail that runs for 20 miles through Tahoe City along the waterfront. It makes for an amazing run or morning walk.

Eagle Rock Trailhead

Eagle Rock Trailhead

3370 West Lake Boulevard, Homewood, CA 96141

0.7 mile out-and-back hike with stunning views of the lake.

Tahoe House Bakery & Gourmet

Tahoe House Bakery & Gourmet

625 West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City, CA 96145
, (530) 583-1377

Our favorite spot for a quick lunch or a morning pastry! Also the bakery that is baking our wedding cake!

Sugar Pine Cakery & Cafe

2923 Lake Forest Road, Tahoe City, CA 96145
, (530) 583-2253

Our favorite Tahoe morning is walking to this coffee shop and then enjoying some Tahoe views at the Coast Guard Station down the road.

For all the days along the way
