The Yucatán Peninsula is a vast region in southeastern México that includes the states of Yucatán, Quintana Roo, and Campeche. The peninsula is known for its beautiful coastline, which features some of the world's most beautiful beaches and coral reefs. The area is also home to some of Mexico's most impressive archaeological sites, including the ancient Mayan cities of Chichen Itza and Tulum. Visitors to the Yucatan Peninsula can enjoy a wide range of activities, from swimming and snorkeling to exploring the region's many cenotes (natural swimming holes). Flights from Belgium are normally quite cheap. So, one possibility could be to arrive to Cancun a couple of weeks before the wedding, and see this fantastic region first.
