Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are warmly welcomed at our wedding! We're delighted to have our youngest family members join in our celebration. If you need any special accommodations for parents or children, please don't hesitate to contact us—we'll do our best to ensure everyone's comfort and enjoyment.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry tab of this page.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus one. Please contact us personally to include your guest in your RSVP and provide their details.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, our wedding celebration will proceed beautifully at the church. Our ceremony will take place inside the church sanctuary, and we hope to host the reception outdoors on the church grounds. If the weather becomes uncooperative, we'll simply move the reception to the church's grand hall. No matter the weather, both the ceremony and reception will remain at the same location.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will take place in an Orthodox Christian Church, which has specific traditional dress expectations. Here are some guidelines to help you prepare: The ceremony will be around an hour and those in attendance, if able, will be standing as the church has limited seating and is typically reserved for those unable to stand during the ceremony. Please choose close toed and comfortable footwear in accordance with this tradition. For Men: • Long-sleeved shirts • Full-length pants For Women: • Long skirts or dresses • Long sleeves • Modest necklines (completely covered cleavage) • Optional hair covering (veiling is welcome but not mandatory) We kindly request that all guests dress modestly and respectfully, keeping in mind the sacred nature of the church and the spiritual significance of this ceremony. Our wedding is a reverent celebration of our Orthodox Christian traditions, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions about the dress code, please feel free to contact Amanda or John directly.
