Where should I park?

Answer

The Adolphus is an urban hotel with valet parking only. For guests not staying at the hotel, but wishing to park a car during the Ceremony & Reception, please inform the valet that you are attending the Nelson Wedding.

Isn’t it hot in Texas in August?

Answer

Rest assured, our wedding will take place indoors! The ceremony and reception are located on the 19th Floor of The Adolphus so there is no need to go outside or arrange transportation between venues. (However, we do hope you get to soak up the Texas sun at some point during your stay…it’s one of our favorite parts of living here!)

Yes, children of all ages are welcome!

Will child care be provided?

Answer

Yes! We are excited to provide complimentary on-site child care from 6:00-11:00pm the night of the wedding. Child care will be provided in a hotel suite just a few steps away from the ceremony and reception space. Our hope is that both the adults and little ones we love will enjoy a fun and memorable evening. Dinner will be provided. Please note in your RSVP how many children will participate in the on-site child care and dinner option.
