In September 2021, Katee received an email from one of her past music instructors from the University of Northwestern. She wished Katee well, and at the end, she mentioned that she gave my phone number to a guy at Northwestern who was starting a music group with some of the students on campus. At first, we didn't even think about it and had NO idea we would end up here. Katee then quickly heard from this guy from Northwestern, and he introduced himself as John Kidder. He said he was starting a group at Northwestern that will be a Bible study and a time of worship music. Katee thought that it was a great idea and was interested, then decided she wasn't going to respond to John for a whole month, yup superrrr interested :) Katee finally responded to John, and the getting to know each other started. John ended up being from Shell Lake, WI! Ha, God is funny! Katee's family had spent many years traveling to Shell Lake to visit Katee's grandparents. Shell Lake always had a special place in Katee's heart, and she was so excited to hear this man was from Shell Lake. From there, we both knew we had found the "One," and the rest is history! We praise God for the path He has put us on and how our paths have come together. We are so thankful to have you celebrate this special day with us!
