Our Forever Begins Now

On August 21st some years ago John messaged Janae on a social media site. That one message turned into a two week long conversation. A few weeks later on September 9th they had their first date at a birthday party for Janae’s brother. The following day John drove over an hour and waited for Janae to get off work so they could spend the day together. They walked through downtown Ann Arbor exploring and sharing stories of their passions, triumphs, defeats, and desires. They fell in love over their shared love of music, literature, art, and most of all food. On August 12th of 2022 they welcomed their daughter, Grace and became a family. On September 17th 2024, under a harvest blood moon and a lunar eclipse, John asked Janae to be his wife and she said yes.
