Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes. A valid passport is required for international travel to Mexico. Make sure it doesn’t expire within 6 months of your travel dates (recommended).

Is The Fives all inclusive?
Answer
Yes! Your stay includes food, drinks, and most resort activities unless otherwise noted.
Question
When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
Due to the additional complexities of planning a destination wedding, we would greatly appreciate an early RSVP by September 12, 2026. The earlier the better! :)

Where should I stay?
Answer
We’ve reserved rooms at The Fives in Playa del Carmen, where all wedding events will take place. Booking within our room block helps us meet wedding minimums.

Can I stay somewhere else?
Answer
You can, but note that The Fives will charge a $75 day pass to enter their facilities and attend the wedding. Please let us know if you plan to stay outside the venue, and we will give you instructions for getting day passes.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Although we love your children, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you’ll take this as a chance to enjoy a fun getaway and celebrate with us! Please note: The resort is kid-friendly if you have options available for a sitter during the event.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 4:45pm at the sky wedding venue for ceremony.

What currency should I bring?
Answer
Mexican pesos are preferred if possible. Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx) are widely accepted at hotels and many restaurants. Use a credit/debit card with no foreign transaction fee if you can! US Dollars ($) are often accepted at resorts, tourist shops, and larger businesses, but keep in mind the rate you get may not be favorable and change is usually given in pesos.

Warm and tropical! Expect highs in the 80s°F (27–32°C). Evenings can be breezy.

When should I book my flight?
Answer
As soon as possible for the best prices. We recommend arriving at least one day before the wedding. The closest airport is in Cancun just a short 45 minute drive from the resort.

Is there transportation to and from the airport to the resort?
Answer
OPTIONAL: Shared Roundtrip Aiport Transportation is $102.00 USD per person. This private service is only shared with wedding guests arriving/leaving together (+/- 30min).

How early should I book my room at the Fives? How early should I set up transportation?
Answer
-Up to October 12th to make 1st deposit. -Up to October 13th to make final payment. -Up to 45 days before the travel dates to send flight information for transportation.
