Lauren and Betsy have been friends for over a decade. They’ve had so many adventures together, including traveling to California and the Keys (on a budget!), going out to Latin night at bars underage, pulling an all-nighter from the bar then home to change then out to a workout before sunrise (on a weeknight), living our best island life, and bible studies & worship! Lauren loves her husband of 4 years, Jordon, and their sweet cuddly pit bull Moose. She is passionate about fitness and health, and owns a spa (Internal Harmony) in Linwood. Lauren loves going to the beach, and also enjoys drinking wine by the gallon with Betsy.
Ezra Kuskin
Best Man
Ezra and John are fraternity brothers from Rider and have known each other for almost 20 years. In college, Ezra and John made many memories - randomly hanging with members of 3 Doors Down, putting together countless parties, carving ice blocks, eating kugel, and, of course, “pizza man.” Their friendship really flourished when Ezra moved his boat to AC. They spent almost every weekend together, especially during summer. There were fun boat rides to the Cove, Somers Point, & Beach Haven, 2 Coast Guard visits w/John, Tropicana air freshener, and many pong games. In addition to having fun, Ez loves his girlfriend, Danielle, his family, his friends, and fishing. Ezra is one of the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet. There’s no doubt you’re going to love him as much as everyone else does.
Courtney Williams

Courtney and Betsy met at Atlantic Cape Community College, when Betsy was almost stuck with a random weirdo as a lab partner. Betsy asked Courtney to be her lab partner instead, and a friendship blossomed, including the class trip to Philly, blowing off part of the class trip to shopping, their shared love of Spongebob Squarepants, Courtney telling off a bartender on Betsy's behalf, and talking for HOURS and hours... Courtney and her husband Michael were married in 2017 and just had their handsome little son Michael Jr. in February 2019.
Drew Ferst
Groomsman
Drew and John have know each other for 10 years. They, along with Drew’s wife, Katie, met while working in the sales department at Wyndham Vacation Ownership. Both big Philly sports fans, they have watched many Eagles and Phillies games together. One of the best memories was being at the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade with Ezra, Danielle, Nicole, Nicholas, (Bryan and Anthony were there as well), and roughly 2 million others. John and Drew have many good memories together - playing Quizzo (at St. George’s), fishing next to Brigantine bridge, whitewater rafting in PA, seeing Billy Joel and DMB. Drew has always been a great person to lean on when in need. He has a good heart and always does right by people. Oh, if you’re looking to come back to Xfinity Cable, Drew will take good care of you.
Rhiannon Lister

Rhiannon and Betsy met while working at Borgata, first in Nightlife and then in Customer Care (with Eileen!). An everlasting bond was formed in the trenches of the hospitality industry, and since then they’ve had an infinite number of nights out, beer pong at Wild Wild West, St. Patrick’s Day, sleepovers (on Betsy’s Spongebob sheets), Halloweens, and more! Rhiannon and her main squeeze Mike live with their four-legged little girl Sydney, in their new home.
Bryan Taylor
Groomsman
Bryan and John have worked together for almost 10 years with the Philadelphia Eagles. Running the Premium Club areas in Lincoln Financial Field has really bonded these guys over the years. Both of them have dealt with many crazy situations at the Linc, but always seem to find a way to solve the problems in front of them. On the flip side, they have always found ways to have a good time - post games at Xfinity Live, Phillies home openers with kegs and singing old guys, Sixers games, one (so far) Eagles away game in Washington, and the NFL Draft experience in 2017 with Mikey, Katie, Drew, Sean, and Christian. Bryan is not only a great coworker, but an incredible friend. He tells you when you’re doing something wrong without hesitation, and we all need a person like that in our lives.
Eileen Hannan

Eileen and Betsy met while working at Borgata, fighting to survive in Customer Care (and trying to deal with Rhiannon’s antics!). They used to work together on side projects at work trying to spend as much time off the phone as possible! They’ve had many girls nights out at Wild Wild West, sleepovers (at Aunt Suzie’s), St. Patrick’s day parades, and so many more memories! Eileen is a caring and awesome aunt to her adorable niece Rosie, and a hard-working city slicker in Philly who travels in style for her job.
Mike Hughes
Groomsman
Mike and John became friends almost 10 years ago while working for the Philadelphia Eagles. Over the years, they found that they shared a lot of the same interests - both graduated from Rider U, they enjoy bar trivia aka “Quizzo,” both play fantasy football, and of course, they both love the 76ers. John and Mike (and Betsy) will always “Trust The Process.” There is no doubt that Mike is a closet Eagles fan, but he lives and dies with his beloved Miami Dolphins (“Fins Up!”). We won’t hold it against him, especially this season. Mike has always been a good friend and an even better person. He’s always game for a concert or a Sixers’ game, a birthday party or even a wedding. He steps up to the plate, especially when needed the most. We are so happy to have Mike part of our exciting day.
Nicole Anderson
Bridesmaid
Nicole is John’s younger sister. They are Irish Twins who’ve always embraced the title. Nicole works for the State of New Jersey where she helps families in need on a daily basis. It makes sense because she’s always had a big heart. This can be seen not only in her work, but in her role as a mother. However, don’t let Nicole’s kindness fool you. She’s a straight shooter without much of a filter who always tells you like it is - or at least, how she sees it. In fact, early on in John and Betsy’s courtship, Nicole told John, “you better marry her one day, and don’t screw it up.” Well said, Nicole! There are already a number of good memories over these 4 years for the 3 of them - an Eagles game w/Nick (getting on the field), 2 Billy Joel concerts, NYE parties, and many family gatherings.
Ian Fenwick

Ian is Betsy’s younger brother. He’s a proud member of the US Coast Guard. He’s one of the smartest people we know, especially when it comes to technology, He currently works in, and is continuing his studies in, the IT field. Ian loves traveling and trying different things. He recently came back from a hiatus of over a month in Europe, visiting Ireland, England, Netherlands, France, Spain, and more. He also dabbles in different hobbies like making cheese. Now, officially a Texan, we are both looking forward to Ian’s return to New Jersey for our wedding.
Jaclyn Steinhagen

Jaclyn is John’s first Goddaughter. She attends Audubon High School and is at the beginning of her junior year. She currently has her permit, and will soon have her driver’s license come November. Jaclyn loves the shore, working on her tan, and hanging out with her friends. We are thrilled to have her as part of our wedding party.
Nicholas Anderson
Groomsman
Nicholas is John’s and (soon to be) Betsy’s nephew. He is a fine young man who will do whatever you ask of him at the drop of a hat. He’s a member of Sterling High School’s baseball team, as well as a basketball player in their intramural league. Nicholas received his driver’s license in May and has taken full advantage, driving “down the shore” to visit his Uncle John and Aunt B several times already.
Emilia McShane

Emilia is John’s newest Goddaughter. This sweet little girl will steal your heart at first sight. She enjoys Peppa Pig, Frozen, and reading books during her spare time. She’s loves her parents, Fabi and Rick, as well as her big brother, Ricky. Emilia has been studying hard, preparing for her role in the ceremony. We are so excited to have part of our celebration.
Ricky McShane, IV
Ring Bearer
Ricky is a great big brother to his sister Emilia. He loves her very much, along with his mom and dad. Currently, Ricky is in his kindergarten year at school. In his free time, he really loves playing with Spider-Man and other superheroes. Just like most boys his age, Ricky enjoys running around and having a good time. He’s now playing in a soccer league. Recently, Ricky was visited by the Tooth Fairy after losing one of his front teeth. We are really looking forward to Ricky bringing our rings down the isle and seeing that big smile.
