Johanna and I had a date night at the apartment. It was casual Saturday night with a heart shaped ribeye cut steak and two bottles of malbec and some special treats. Mind you,I had the ring in the apartment for several months and was plotting a surprise proposal. Johanna assumed I had the ring and the mood presented itself after heading to bed. After that I got up and told her to close her eyes because it was going to be bright. She hid under the covers. I went to the side of the bed and was on one knee with the ring.
