Johanna and Gladie met in 2014 at San Diego State while working for the athletics department, and from day one Gladie has been so much more than a coworker — she’s been a mentor, adventure partner, and the radically candid friend. She was actually the very first person Chris met during a visit to Pullman, WA (her son went to WSU, too!). Gladie has cheered us on through every step of our journey, and we’re over the moon that she’ll be speaking about our love on the big day. Sydney and Johanna met in 2014 at San Diego State working for the athletics department. We even lived down the street from each other in downtown San Diego and shared weekly dinners. Through multiple jobs, new home addresses, and deployments, our friendship has only grown stronger. Oh, she’s a WSU Cougar too! Sydney is married to Slade, and together they’re raising two kiddos Campbell and Banks!

From the very first days of high school, we were destined to click! With a circle of mutual middle school friends already in the mix, it didn’t take long before we became close and calling each other “wifey”. Over the years, we’ve cheered each other through milestones, tackled life’s curveballs, and celebrated countless big (and little!) moments together probably including Friends TV show playing in the background. Alexis and Sean have been married for over 10 years and are incredible parents to two curious and active kids, Logan and West.
Cedric Clark

Cedric is Chris’ older brother and have been two peas in a pod since day one. They grew up together in Tacoma, WA and Germany. Both proud Washington State grads, they made their way back to Pullman for Homecoming Weekend in 2022 — the very weekend Chris spotted Johanna across the room, and the rest is history! Cedric now splits his time between Houston, TX and Bentonville, AR, where he’s raising his amazing crew of four: Jaedin, Jazmin, Jaxson, and Jorden.

Brittany and Chris first met in 2013 in Bentonville, Arkansas — Chris was working at a marketing firm and Brittany was with a consumer packaged goods company. From the very first conversation, it felt like they’d been separated at birth, swapping story after story proving how much they had in common. Notably, their similar sense of humor which may be heard on a podcast coming to you soon. Today, Brittany is married to William, and together they have their sweet son, Xavier!
