Johanna and Austin met while Austin was stationed at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. On February 1st, 2023, Johanna and Austin went on their first date at Tommy's Tavern followed by an ice cream date at Halo Pub in Princeton. March 6th, 2023, they took their first trip together to New Hampshire and fell in love with the state and each other! Johanna and Austin moved to North Carolina on April 1st, 2024 after Austin received orders to relocate to North Carolina. Austin proposed to Johanna in Guntersville, Alabama on April 14th, 2025.
