We met through a mutual friend in the fall of 2016 at a marching band get together.
January 2017 we went on our first date to Woodman's, a grocery store in Eau Claire, and we bought ingredients to make homemade burritos. It was a great first date!
From then on we spent most of our free time together at UWEC. The first time Chris said "I love you" was when we were dancing at the Viennese Ball just 3 months after we started dating. Johanna had said it first but it wasn't as special as when Chris said it. 
Chris graduated in spring of 2018 and then we would spend most weekends together either in Eau Claire or Farmington. 
We got engaged on December 1st 2018. We agreed that wedding planning would have to wait until after Johanna graduated a few weeks later in December 2018. We are very excited to get married and begin our life together. We have been blessed with two very supportive and loving families and we can't wait to see what the future has in store for us!
