Our Story
Our story began in 2019 at a Nando’s during a parish youth leaders gathering. What started as a simple friendship slowly blossomed into something more. In 2022, we began to grow closer during a youth leaders retreat and bonded deeply after both having to isolate at the same time due to COVID. Our first date came that July at a cosy Italian restaurant, and the rest was history.
In 2024, Johanes proposed at our favourite spot; outside St Columba’s in South Perth, overlooking the city skyline. Our journey has been grounded in our love for God and our shared passion for serving others, particularly the youth in our church — and we’re so excited to step into this next chapter together.
