Question

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be shuttle buses departing to the wedding venue from the W Bogota hotel at 1:30 pm. And staggered shuttles in the evening back to the hotel. The wedding venue is outside of Bogota (for stunning views of Colombian terrain), approximately 30 miles from the hotel. Due to the heavy traffic in Bogota, it will take approximately 1 hr. and 30 minutes to arrive to the venue from our hotel.

Answer

Like any large city (even those in the United States), there is crime that can happen in Bogotà. No matter where you are, it is recommended to use good judgment and take basic safety precautions. Other entry requirements remain unchanged to include wearing a facemask upon entry. Travelers must still complete Migracion Colombia’s online Check-Mig form.
