Johana and Jio’s journey began in 2019 when they were paired as wedding partners for Jerome and Edith's wedding. From the start, there was an undeniable connection—Jio’s kindness and warmth made him a joy to be around, and throughout the celebration, a spark quietly formed between them. Though neither acted on it right away, fate brought them together again on Halloween. A week later, they went on their first date, a playful round of mini golf, and by the end of the night, they made their relationship official. Over the years, their love grew through shared adventures, laughter, and countless memories. In 2024, during a peaceful moment by a lake in Beacon, NY, after a day of hiking—a favorite pastime of theirs—Jio proposed, marking the beginning of their next chapter together. Now, they are ready to walk down the aisle, surrounded by their favorite people, and celebrate the love that started with a simple pairing but was always meant to be.
