Travel

For our friends and family flying into Sweden, to make your trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible, we’ve put together a guide about traveling to and staying in Stockholm.

Flight

Arlanda

Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is the main international airport, located about 40 minutes from the city center. Alternatively, Stockholm Skavsta Airport (NYO) and Bromma Airport (BMA) serve budget airlines and regional flights. To reach central Stockholm directly from Arlanda, we recommend taking the Arlanda Express, which takes about 18 minutes. For more details, click 'View' to visit the Arlanda Express website:

House Or Rental

Airbnbs & Hotels

For accommodations, we recommend booking an Airbnb or hotel. We've highlighted a few nearby neighborhoods in the FAQ section.

Train

Local traffic and Taxis

🚇 Stockholm boasts excellent public transportation, with easy access to trains, buses, and the metro to get you nearly anywhere. 🗺️ We recommend using Google Maps for route planning. 💳 Paying for transit is simple, just use your credit card or Apple Pay. 🚖 Uber is also available in Stockholm and is known for being reliable and safe. 🚦We don’t recommend renting a car in Stockholm, as parking can be both difficult and expensive.

Travel Note

Getting to Sirihov

To reach Sirihov from your accommodation, we recommend using the Google Maps app to plan your journey. It will guide you with the best available routes to the venue. If you’re taking public transport, you’ll be dropped off at *Nordiska museet/Vasamuseet*, followed by a short, scenic 13-minute walk to Sirihov. For reference, click 'View' to see Sirihov on the map:
