Our wedding ceremony will take place on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 4:00pm at The Providence Cotton Mill (4137 Providence Mill Road, Maiden, North Carolina 28650). The cocktail hour and reception will follow at the same location.
We recommend arriving 30-45 minutes early to allow time for parking, seating, and getting settled.
Yes! This will be a formal event. Men are expected to wear suits, tuxedos, a button-down shirt with slacks, jacket preferred (tuxedos and ties are not required, but always look very dapper!). Please no jeans, casual khaki pants, cowboy boots, or tennis shoes. Women are expected to wear a floor-length gown or a below-the-knee sophisticated, dressy cocktail dress. Please no mini dresses, casual sundresses, cowgirl boots, flip flops, or tennis shoes. Thank you for respecting our wishes to make this a formal affair!
Your invitation address will indicate if you have a plus one. Your Zola RSVP page will also include all individuals in your party/family who are invited. Please feel free to reach out if you are unsure!
We love your little ones! However, for our special day, unless otherwise specified, we kindly request that children under the age of five not attend the wedding. We want to ensure the celebration is comfortable and enjoyable for all of our guests. Please reach out to us directly if you are unsure!
Yep! Free parking is available on-site. There will also be an off-duty police officer stationed at the venue's entrance for the duration of the wedding to ensure the comfort and safety of all of our guests and their vehicles!
NO PHOTOS, VIDEOS, OR PHONES DURING THE CEREMONY! We will be having a technology-free ceremony. Please no photos or videos during the wedding ceremony (we want to see your beautiful faces in our professional photos, not your phone screens!). We will make professional ceremony photos available to all guests when we receive the edited album after the wedding. After the ceremony concludes, we encourage you to take as many photos and videos as you would like during the cocktail hour and reception!
As long as you send your gifts/make contributions before the wedding day concludes, you are good to go!
If you have any dietary restrictions please let us know ASAP and our caterer will arrange for a specialized plate for you.
There will be an open bar until the pre-determined tab is reached. Following this it will switch to a cash bar.
We will miss you! If you cannot attend, please RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly. If you are unable to attend, there is no expectation for you to purchase a gift or make a contribution on our registry, but it would still be very much appreciated! Any guests who do not RSVP by the deadline will not be accounted for in guest counts and wedding preparations.
Yes! If you are still in town, we would love for you to join us for our Farewell Lunch: Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026/12:00pm/7412 Gabriel St. (Emily's parents' house!)
Please reach out to Joey, Emily, or Jill (Emily's mom) if you have any further questions.
