Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A hotel block has been reserved for our guests at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines until May 16, 2025. It is approximately a 20 minute drive from the church and reception venue. Please visit the Travel page of our website for additional information.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a cocktail dress or dressy separates.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to be seated by 1:45 pm so we can ensure our ceremony begins on time!

Will you be livestreaming the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Please go to the church's website (https://marystarlajolla.org/) and scroll down to the livestreamed Masses section. From there, you will be able to select the wedding date to find the livestream. The livestream will begin approximately 10 minutes prior to the hour and will end 10 minutes after the wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking can be challenging in La Jolla. It is often busy but it is free. Please pay close attention to the posted signs for time limits for each area. - Eads Avenue parking does not have a time limit. - Other adjacent streets have 2-hour limit from 8 am - 6 pm. (This means that you could park your car there from 4 pm - 10 am.)
