FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is July 27, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as ‘no’. We need to provide the venue and catering with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the limited space and budget, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up for our big day! Dress code is semi formal or cocktail attire. We please ask no shorts, jeans, or other informal attire please!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm, so we recommend arriving at the venue 15-30 minutes beforehand. This will ensure you are able to park and find your seat in plenty of time prior to the ceremony!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, but it is limited, so we ask that you carpool if able! There is a parking lot available for you to park in, but parking in the cul-de-sac across from the venue is prohibited and may result in your car being towed. Uber and Lyft also service the venue as well! You are also able to leave your car at the venue overnight until 10 AM the next day. If you do not get your car before then, it may also result in your car being towed! All cars that are left at the venue overnight, must be picked up by 10:00 am the following day, per the venue rules, otherwise your car may be towed!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, but only if it is stated in your invitation! However, we do ask that if you decide to bring your kiddos that they are supervised throughout the night per venue rules!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be welcome wine & beer available at cocktail hour and the reception!

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will held on-site at The Upchurch. Everything will be indoors except for the short walk to the cocktail hour space and back to the ceremony space for the reception once it has been flipped!
