I knew Joey was the one the day we met. Joey and I connected on OkCupid back when OkCupid was just about the only dating app available aside from Tinder. When he finally asked me to dinner to meet in person (after I suggested he should), we simultaneously suggested the same restaurant. We then proceeded to order the same meal. After about 3 hours of effortless conversation and dirty looks from the restaurant staff, we decided that we should probably leave and let them seat someone else. I thought we would separate once we neared the subway, but we didn't, and we just kept walking. We walked the entire length of Center City Philadelphia, twice. We decided to watch a movie together at Joey's apartment. We couldn't find anything to watch on Netflix (their collection wasn't so expansive back in the day). And then...it happened, the moment I knew I would marry this man. Joey bashfully stated that he had some DVDs, but he only had Disney movies. That was it. I was in love. And here we are, nearly 9 years later, finally tying the knot!
