Dana Point Harbor
Joey proposed to Melissa near the ocean by Dana Point Harbor. It's also where we took our engagement photos! For a relaxed ambiance right on the water, check out Wind & Sea Restaurant. Don't forget to order a mai tai! To grab a cup of coffee and walk around the Harbor, we love Coffee Importers. Looking for an excursion? Dana Point serves as a port for the Catalina Express, a ferry boat that transports visitors to Santa Catalina Island. It's only an hour away by boat!
Laguna Beach
For beach views, check out Heisler Park or Crystal Cove State Park. The walking trails at both locations are wonderful. For the best gelato nearby, visit Gelato Paradiso in Downtown Laguna Beach. For a fine dining experience on the water, visit Splashes at Surf and Sand Resort. For rooftop cocktails overlooking the ocean, visit The Deck on Laguna Beach Las Brisas and The Beachcomber are great (but busy!) spots for brunch!
