Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We know that all of you will look fantastic on the day, but we’ve provided some guidance on the dress code for Cartagena. This wonderful city enjoys a tropical, humid weather with average temperatures in the mid 80s during December. We suggest light and cool fabrics that are breathable such as cotton, rayon, tulle or linen. Woman: long flowy dress or gowns (optional) Men: Suits (linen or formal), linen suits with guayaberas (typical Cartagena style), tux (optional) - Colombian wedding tradition is for men to wear a “guayabera” white linen shirt with khaki linen suit. If you would like to purchase one of these shirts, below is the link to Cubavera.com or there are many stores in Cartagena where you can buy them. https://www.cubavera.com/collections/guayaberas-mens Make sure you feel comfortable to enjoy the day!
