There are endless things to do in the area. The California coast is gorgeous and LA has some of the best food, drink, and culture in the country! Here are a few of our favorite things to do if you're around for longer:

Grab some breakfast burritos at Malibu Country Kitchen, or lunch at Broad Street Oyster Co or Malibu Seafood Market. Be sure to stop at the beautiful beaches along the way, we like Point Dume/Zuma Beach and Malibu Lagoon.

Republique is our favorite bakery in LA! Go shopping on Melrose or La Brea afterward.

Brunch at Republique

JTree is about a 2.5 hour drive away but well worth the day trip. Get breakfast at JT Country Kitchen (Anthony Bourdain approved), then hike Ryan Mountain or scramble around at Jumbo Rocks.
