When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding starts at 4pm on May 30, 2026 at Riata Ranch in Santa Margarita, CA. The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place on the grass and at the greenhouse onsite.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45pm as the ceremony will begin at 4pm.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire requested - Elegant, dressy, and comfortable. Ladies - think midi to ankle-length dresses or dressy jumpsuits. For shoes please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place on grass; however, cocktail hour and the reception is on concrete. Gentlemen - think suits, or dress shirts with dress pants and dress shoes or cowboy boots.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding is outdoors! It can get a bit chilly in the evenings in May, so we suggest bringing a jacket just in case.

Can I bring a plus one / are children invited?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Please note that our wedding is adults only, and we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation.

Is transportation being provided to/from the venue & is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to the venue; however, we will have a few small van shuttles dropping off in San Luis Obispo and Atascadero at the end of the night. Cars are allowed at the venue overnight, but they must be picked up by 10am the next morning. Please note Ubers and Lyfts can drop off and pick up from the venue as well. Although availability at night can be limited, so scheduling pick up is recommended.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

Absolutely no smoking is allowed at the venue.
