We Kind of Eloped!

Surprise! We wanted to share that we’ve tied the knot in a private micro ceremony in Sedona, AZ! We’re thrilled to celebrate this special milestone with you at our afterparty. Thank you for your love and understanding—we look forward to seeing you there!

Joey’s POV: I made friends with Hang’s friends to get closer to her. Hang’s POV: Joey locked eyes on me and had a motive. I couldn’t tell he liked me because I was super shy and a mute. My girl friends abandoned me to get lunch and left their backpacks for me to supervise. He said hi and proceeded to come closer to me, and I got spazzed out and grabbed as much stuff as I could, and ran away to my friends in line. Joey laughed. A few months later, Joey asked me out on his birthday, August 31st, 2012 (via Facebook).

May 10th, the day after my birthday, Joey proposed at Huntington Beach in 2023. I was eating Dippin’ Dots Banana Split ice cream. Surprise! My great treats.
