Grace and Joey's story starts like any great love story... online. Grace (who sadly missed school the day they taught about stranger danger) decided to drive to the bar Joey worked at to see him only a day after matching on the hit dating app, Bumble. Joey (who didn't think that a stranger he met online would come to his place of work only a day after matching on the hit dating app, Bumble) was shocked when Grace (missed the class, remember) walked through the door. Grace had told Joey that she loved classic daiquiris, so you can imagine that Joey (who said he was a bartender) would surely A) already know how to make a daiquiri, or B) think to try and learn how to make a daiquiri before this person that said she was coming in to see him and loved daiquiris, came in. What sounded like a recipe for a decent to moderately not decent night, (and a pretty lousy daiquiri) ended up being the night that the two of them would never forget. Grace was swept off her feet by Joey's charm and wit, and Joey was enamored with Grace' ambition and creativity. Since that day, the two have been each other's best friends and have shared much love and laughter. After visiting Artisan Works early in their relationship, they both knew that this would be the place they got married. In the last 3 years, Grace and Joey have traveled together, gotten their dog Nala, seen each other through job changes, bought a house together, and lived life laughing everyday. They can't wait to be married, and celebrate their love with all of their friends and family in April!
