At this stage, make sure your passport is up to date. If your passport will expire within 3 months of your trip, you will need to get it renewed as soon as possible. There is a new online renewal process you can do via the government's website.
We understand many of our guests will plan extra vacations around our wedding weekend. We'd recommend reaching out to the travel agent we have used for many of our own trips to Italy in the past: Jennine Lombardi Owner/Travel Specialist Jennine Lombardi Travel, LLC 3460 Erie Blvd East | Syracuse, NY 13214 (p) 315.701.2648 | jlombardi@nyaaa.com Cell – 315-877-1315 Monday and Friday: 9am – 5pm
Due to the small capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate guests unless otherwise noted on your invite.
The wedding day will be Black Tie. Fall colors are encouraged - check out this link for inspiration: https://pin.it/2LBGlzcGd
We planned a 3 day weekend full of celebrations to make the most of our time together but if you are unable to attend all 3 days of events, you can communicate that via the final RSVP which will include an RSVP for each specific event.
Autumn in Tuscany is characterized by sunshine and blue skies. Expect a daytime high of 72℉ and a low of 52℉ overnight. Of course, keep checking the weather as we get closer and pack accordingly. Almost all events will take place outside, so it would be a good idea at the minimum, to have a light jacket, sweater or shawl packed.
Remember that Italy has different outlets and voltage than in the US. You will need a converter and to be aware of the voltage (i.e. 220 voltage in the EU) of any hair tools, razors or other electric items you may bring. We recommend purchasing a pack of these: https://a.co/d/4AYDsfR
Majority of the weekend's events will take place on a hard surface but of course much of Europe is filled with cobble stones and uneven surfaces. Weather permitting, the cocktail hour will be partially on grass. That said, we recommend no stilettos or super high heels.
