Sunset Cliffs at Osprey Point 1253 Sunset Cliffs Blvd, San Diego, CA 92107 This address will lead you directly to Osprey Point. Be sure to account for traffic—give yourself plenty of time and plan your route in advance! COMFORTABLE SHOES REQUIRED.
Wednesday, Sept. 2nd, 2026 at golden hour. (See ITINERARY page for detailed timeline of events.)
There is a small parking lot at the park site, but parking is also available on the street. Take Interstate 8 west to the end. Then follow Sunset Cliffs Boulevard through Ocean Beach to the cliffs to where the street ends just north of Osprey Street. NOTE that it gets harder to find parking around this time of day. Ride sharing and carpooling highly encouraged for ease. If you must park, get there earlier and just hang out!
Please visit the ITINERARY page to view the required arrival time. IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE GROUP HAS ALREADY DEPARTED DOWN THE CLIFF we kindly ask that you hang back and stay at the viewpoint by the parking lot and observe from a distance, rather than trying to catch up with the group. This ensures the safety of both yourself, and others. This will also keep our ceremony smooth and keep the focus and attention on the bride and groom. Don’t stress too much, you can still see us from a distance AND can enjoy the beautiful backdrop of the setting sun over the ocean!
NO RESTROOMS ARE AVAILABLE AT OSPREY POINT.
While the trek isn’t far or long, the ground is uneven (slippery stone/rocks/dirt). We will be close to unfenced drop offs throughout. Please join us at your own discretion. You know your body best.
If you would prefer to witness our elopement from a distance at the lookout point rather than on the actual cliff, you are more than welcome to do so! While we won’t be immediately close by and you won’t be able to hear us, you will still be able to see our group from a distance at the viewpoint, enjoy an unobstructed panoramic ocean sunset, and be a part of our “send off” to dinner afterwards.
Children under 6 are not advised to attend our elopement due to the heights, narrow pathways, drop-offs, and lack of fencing. However, children are more than welcome at the dinner.
Yes!! We’re aiming for a low-maintenance, smaller elopement feel. If you are unable to attend at all, or can only attend the elopement, OR the dinner, that is a-ok!
