Joey and Brooke's love story started with a simple swipe right, on a dating website called Tinder. A conversation soon blossomed, and led to setting up a date to meet in person. On August 20th, 2016, Joey walked up to Brooke's doorstep with a giant bouquet of purple flowers, and a smile that left butterflies in her tummy for days on end. From that moment forward, the couple quickly fell head over heels. Two weeks later on September 5th, 2016 they attended Day on the Green in San Francisco, where Joey asked Brooke to be his girlfriend. J & B knew they had something incredibly special, and by September 11th, 2016 they had fallen completely in LOVE! Their love story never slowed down. December 30th, 2016 they adopted their first fur baby Blue, and on February 15th, 2017 the family of three moved into their first home in Sonora, California. Through the last year, they adopted 3 chickens and 2 ducks, a fur baby named Murphy, and built a love that can stand up to all obstacles they are faced with. Joey and Brooke got engaged on November 22nd, 2017 at Indigeny Reserve in Sonora, California. One and a half years down and forever to go!

On November 22nd, 2017 Joey got down on one knee and asked Brooke to be his wife. The couple was having their friend Angie, capture some pictures for their 2017 Christmas cards. While capturing a picture of them dancing at Brooke's favorite Gazebo, Joey offered an idea for a pose, and that is when Joey took both of Brooke's hands in his, and kneeled. The entire proposal was captured on camera by Angie, and left J & B with priceless pictures to forever reflect on! The surprises did not end there! That evening, Joey and Angie set up a surprise engagement gathering with all of their closest friends, and they were able to spend their first night of engagement celebrating with their favorite people! It was the beginning of a new chapter in their story!
