Jason is the older brother and best friend of the groom. They did everything together growing up - sports, video games, first rock concert and more. If it wasn't for Jason, the groom may have never picked up a volleyball or started loving to dance. Joey's favorite moment with his brother was celebrating with him in Newport Beach after Concordia Volleyball beat Stanford. Another great memory was speaking at Jason's wedding as his best man, word on the street was that it was pretty good...no pressure JT!

Kalynn is my best friend, & I often say is an angel on this earth. If you know her, I'm sure you would agree. We both went to CSUF and while I loved my major & my degree means a lot to me, I would have to say that the best thing I got from CSUF was our friendship. She is wise, patient, joyful, helpful, kind, and loving. I am blessed to have her as my best friend, and now to have her as my matron of honor.

Marc is my older brother and best friend. He has supported & guided me through truly everything in life. While I can't accurately describe the impact he has had on me, I can say that he is nothing short of a gift, is the best person to know, and it has been one of my proudest titles to be, "Marc's little sister".

Megan is my sister-in-law, and has quickly became one of the most important people in my life. She is the answer to my prayers and is a better wife to my brother & mother to my nephew than I ever could have hoped for. She is gracious, easy to be around, genuine, and is one of my very favorite people. I am so grateful my brother scored her and I get to have her as family.

Nick is the youngest of 3 brothers and wanted a younger brother of his own. Luckily for Joey he was the next cousin in line. Nick and Joey spent 3 years in high school together, shared a college graduation party, and never let the party end. After college graduation Nick and Joey traveled to Punta Cana together, celebrated for a week on the beach, and ordered room service for late night food every night. Joey's favorite memory with Nick was when they hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim.

If it wasn't for Jenna, the bride and groom would have never met. Twin of the groom and coworker, ex-roommate, and best friend of the bride. Jenna and Alyssa met at CHOC hospital and a highlight moment was when Alyssa setup shots of an energy drink in the break room for Jenna's birthday. Alyssa knew she wanted to be best friends with Jenna the moment Jenna knocked back the shots at 3 am in the morning like it was nothing. What the bride didn't know was that she was going to be celebrating this birthday for the rest of her life! The groom had no say in any of this, but so very very thankful his sister set him up with Alyssa. Joey and Jenna's twin bond remains strong as they battle every part of life and couldn't imagine a better twin, competitor, and wombmate.

Andrew is a cousin of the groom and THE ONLY partner in washers. After Joey and Andrew went undefeated on the beach in Havasu they were officially banned from playing with each other ever again. They took there talents to another game at the famous Kokamo's in Havasu and earned the nicknames "Stash and Cast". There have been many more moments to recognize their wins, but the most memorable moment for the groom was the 5am jet ski ride up to the Sandbar where they talked and ate a whole bag of Taki's.

Emily and I have been friends in life for longer than we haven't. I often tell people that Emily is the picture of grace, and that she is a real life princess. She is kind, loving, beautiful inside & out, and gracious in everything she does. We have been through so much together, and I know that we will continue to be best friends through all of life's seasons.

Gabe and Joey met the first day in College, but neither of them knew they would become best friends. They lived with each other sophomore year on and joined a beach football league after college. They hung out almost every weekend up until Gabe moved to Missouri and Joey moved to Fresno. They are both now back in Orange County, but Joey's favorite memory with Gabe still remains in Missouri when they won a beach volleyball tournament and watched the St. Louis Cardinals play from a nearby rooftop bar.

Tori has been one of my very best friends for over a decade now, and we are just getting started. She is the most dependable person I have ever met, and everything she does, she does well. I am inspired by Tori's consistency, her hospitality, and the way she loves her family and friends fearlessly.

Spencer and Joey played volleyball together at Concordia University and quickly realized that the school made a mistake and didn't place them as roommates. From Sophomore year on they took matters into there own hands, became roommates, and started planning every weekend together. Spencer and Joey bonded over there love for fitness, cribbage, being exhausted from volleyball practice, and most importantly an old video game called "Super Strikers". Joey's favorite moment with Spencer was visiting Spencer in Portland for a week of celebration leading up to Spencer's wedding.

My twin & best friend. We have enjoyed so many good times throughout the years, and have also conquered difficult things together that we are so proud of. Chelsea is effortlessly fun, thoughtful, and loving. She brightens up a room, is so easy to connect with, and is one of the most quality people I have ever met. I am eternally grateful that SAC nursing brought us together, and now I get to have her as one of my very best friends.

Dylan and Joey first met in sales at ADP. What started as a coworker became best friends and partners in crime for quitting sales to become firefighters. They both went to the basic fire academy together, got jobs at Care Ambulance, and now both living the dream. Joey's favorite moment with Dylan was sitting on the beach in Laguna, drinking a beer, and celebrating their dream come true. Living in a trailer with each other for 3 months during the fire academy was pretty fun too!

My rooms & best friend. Living with Joanne was one of my favorite seasons in life. She filled our home with fun, good wine, thoughtful conversation, and the best dance parties. Joanne started off as being my mentor as a nurse, but has become a mentor to me in so many other areas of life as well. LITB <3

Alex and Joey met up in Fresno before the fire academy started. They started working out with each other before the fire academy to prepare and it never ended. From the gym, to hikes around Lake Millerton, and most importantly the recovery beer. Alex became Joey's family in Fresno and was thankful to always have someone that welcomed him for Holiday's and a place to go in Fresno. Joey's favorite memory with Alex was going to a Maoli concert, being in the front row, and doing a meet and greet.

If I could put light in human form, it would be Monet. She is radiant in her love for others, her love for art, her ability to connect, and her passion for serving humanity. What a gift that our paths crossed at CSUF, and that such a meaningful friendship flourished from there. I hope to one day be as fabulous as Monet, and until then I will just keep learning from her
Chris Vasquez

Chris and Joey were in the same group for several weeks in the fire academy, and the friendship grew from there. Bike rides, joining the water rescue team, and even Chris dragging Joey into doing a Spartan Race. Lots of outdoor activities, but nothing compares to simply playing a round of golf. If you don't know the groom is not good at golf and Chris may be the only person that is still happy playing a round with him. Joey enjoys the camaraderie, cigar, and being chauffeured around in the golf cart to find his golf ball. Joey's favorite moment with Chris was a weekend in Tahoe getting to meet and celebrate with Chris' family.

Brynne has quickly become one of my very best friends. We initially connected over our interest in taking care of others & love for wine, then found that we had so much more in common. She encourages me in my faith, shows incredible hospitality by always having a welcoming home and a meal ready to share, and is always such a joy to be around. God knew I needed her and her friendship when He brought us together, and I am so excited for the countless years of friendship ahead of us.
