Joey and Alli started dating in 2013 during their senior year at Crown Point High School. From there their relationship continued to grow as they both attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Alli convinced Joey to like some bikes. Joey convinced Alli to relax and enjoy the little things. Throughout college they faced triumphs and challenges, but always remained by each others' sides. After college, Alli started pursuing a career in medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indy, and Joey started his business career in Chicago. They both cherished the little time they had between Joey's work conferences and Alli's exams. Despite their demanding schedules, they always found time to spend and enjoy together. They even managed to travel around the states, including New Orleans and Denver, and road tripped down the entire west coast. Now, Joey and Alli live together in Fountain Square and are loving every minute of it.

Alli and Joey were on vacation in Southern California after Alli completed her 3rd year of medical school. On March 2 (their 7th anniversary), Joey suggested they go for a hike in Palos Verdes. Palos Verdes is a beautiful town right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean just outside of LA. It was absolutely gorgeous (check out the pic below!!). They hiked out to Inspiration Point, where there was a sneaky photographer posing as another tourist. She caught their big moment, and took all of the engagement photos found throughout the website! She allowed us to bask in the moment, and captured our genuine reactions! It was perfect.
