YES! We don't want to hold anyone back from attending because of their kids, so we welcome all little ones. However, we know it will be a late night and the drinks will be flowing so if you would like to use this as a date night, we highly encourage that! Either way, please let us know if your kids are attending dinner or not, so we can plan a seat and food accordingly.
The attire is black tie. Women should plan to wear floor length or ankle length formal dresses. Men should plan to wear a suit or tux. Please dress appropriately for the ceremony, as it will be held in the Cathedral of Madison.
The dress rehearsal and dinner will be closed to an invite-only group. Everyone is invited to join us for celebratory drinks at the Welcome Party at 7 pm. We are aware that many of you are traveling from near and far, so there is no pressure to attend the Welcome Party if travel does not permit.
Please review the Travel tab for hotel recommendations.
Please review your invite and note that all names including significant others and children are grouped together with your name when you RSVP. Please use the search tool to find the name of those in your party who are invited.
There is ample parking at the Cathedral of Madison. It is approximately 2.4 mi drive from our venue if you choose to drive yourself. We encourage everyone to park their cars at their hotels for the reception, as there is minimal street parking and we do not recommend anyone drive after drinking. For those staying at the Hilton or the Embassy Suites, the hotels are attached and directly across the street from the Madison Club for an easy walk.
Madison is gorgeous this time of year, with temperatures in the 70s-80s. For our California friends, please be prepared for a little humidity!
We understand that most will be getting on the road to make their journey home on Sunday. If you are around and want to say one more goodbye, please feel free to join us on the terrace of the Wisconsin Memorial Union from 12 - 2 pm. There is a grill inside with burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and drinks.
