Of course. It won't be the same without them.
You will certainly be missed however, have no fear in missing out because we will be having a Summer Celebration in August 2020 to gather our friends and family who could not make the trip down to Florida. Info to follow - Ideally 8/8/2020 :)
As much as we would love to say yes to everyone, we have to have a certain amount of guests for the venue we are using. With that said, things and people change their minds so there may be space for your plus one. Either way, let us know if you would like to bring someone and we can let you know if we can accommodate them or not.
For personal reasons, we have chosen not to have alcohol served at our wedding. We will have many different non-alcoholic beverages (including Kombucha on tap) available, but if you would like to bring your own alcohol of choice, at any time during the weekend, please feel free! There is a Tiki Bar on the property with coolers for you to store your goods. Don't forget the ice!
There are some of you that Tanner and I told we were getting married on 02/02/2020. So, yes, that is correct! However, we chose this date BEFORE knowing that it was Super Bowl Sunday. Now that wouldn't have impacted anything really, unless the Superbowl was close by. In this case, the upcoming Superbowl is indeed in Miami. So, to make things easier and less expensive for guests that may need to travel back for work, we decided to change the wedding celebration to Saturday, Feb 1st. What we will be doing is keeping 02/02/2020 as our official wedding date when we go to sign our marriage license on Sunday morning, but we will have the wedding ceremony and big celebration on Saturday evening. We hope this provides some clarity for those that were confused. And if someone decides to get us some kind of "Joelle and Tanner Established 02.02.2020" now you know the correct date to use lol :)
If you have a great suggestion for a hashtag, please text Tanner or Joelle. We came up with one- ItTakes2-2iDo. We thought it was funny and clever on many different levels. One, because we (were going to) have the wedding day be on 2-2-2020 so the "2-2" fit nice. The obvious that you can't get married without the two of us and our commitment to each other. And the "funny" part of that hashtag is the fact that this is Tanner and Joelle's second try at this marriage thing. (It takes 2 times to i do). Okay maybe that's pushing it...we got a good laugh out of it though. We are so blessed to have found each other and walk the rest of this journey together with a commitment to love, kindness and growth. If you like the hashtag, let us know, if you think you've got something better- let us know that too! <3
