My sister, my best friend, and everything in between. She has been there for me since day one and is truly the person who knows me better than anyone else. Growing up I’ve dreamed of her getting older and us doing everything together, and this is just one of the things I get the pleasure of checking off that list. There have been so many moments in my life when I thought everything was going wrong and she has been the light consistently and continuously bringing me back together. Life without her would truly leave a hole in my heart that cannot ever be replaced by anyone, and I’m so honored to truly have her as my built in bestest friend and companion for life.

It’s no coincidence that people always mistake us for sisters, she truly is my sister I got to choose. From being the best partner in volleyball, my parents basically adopting her when we were in high school, to being my children’s godmother. She has been through my side through every season in my later lifetime. Distance truly showed us that no matter how many states away we live from one another, we always have each other‘s back and are always a spontaneous FaceTime call away. I couldn’t imagine not having her stand by my side once again for my special day as we used to stand beside each other on the volleyball court. It truly wouldn’t be as memorable if she wasn’t a part of it.

Madi, the blonde to my brunette, the best friend I can go to and she’ll be down for anything. We have had countless adventures and endless conversations that end either in heartfelt tears or tears of pure laughter. We’ve watched each other grow up side-by-side since elementary school and have had the privilege to see firsthand us two take on motherhood together. From her having two daughters to me having two sons, it’s like God knew we needed each other to balance one another out. She truly has made my life so much brighter with our friendship, and I can’t wait to grow old telling my children about all of our many stories. Actually.. maybe not all of them haha!

Taylor and I grew up being best friends from church since I was about two years old. Growing up I would hardly wait for Sunday to come around and beg our parents to sit next to one another drawing doodles or playing hangman during service. As we grew older and started living completely different lives, I always knew that she was a special kind of friend who would always be there if I ever needed her to be. And that’s exactly who she was. She was my safe space for so many instances and I will never forget the love she showed me when I was at my lowest. She is the reason you all come to celebrate Ryan and I on our special day! And for that I owe her so much gratitude. She is a strong woman who loves the Lord and has been such an inspiration for me and my walk with Christ. To know Taylor is to love her, and I will forever love my dear friend, my Taylor.
