Nathan is the best thing Joelle ever found on the internet. “After one quick conversation, we knew there was something special. We planned a mini golf and milkshake date after only 1 day of chitchatting on Bumble. When I saw Nathan for the first time I had no idea the kind of amazing, ambitious, talented, beautiful souled, and loving man God had in store for me. He truly makes my heart melt each and every day and I am so lucky to become his wife.”

Nathan and Joelle went on a day trip to Mackinaw Island on one random Saturday in September. Instead of biking the 8 mile island, they decided to walk the island. Joelle was not wearing the right attire for walking 8 miles and would not stop complaining about her sandals and sweatshirt. Joelle stated she wanted to go buy a shirt to get out of the sweatshirt. Nathan suggested a dress instead of a shirt so the 2 could go to a nice restaurant for dinner. After going from store to store, Nathan picked out his favorite dress for Joelle to wear. They had a romantic dinner then went to the Somewhere in Time gazebo. Joelle took Nathan to this gazebo one their first trip to the island. Nathan got down on one knee in the gazebo and asked Joelle to marry him. It was the easiest yes ever!
