It was nothing fancy. Joelle still in work scrubs, Evan in rugby shorts, covered in mud. The two of them met at local dive bar, Joe's Tavern, for a drink. Almost 4 years later, not much has changed.
When Joelle thought they were on their way to a Friday date night to Trader Joe's, Evan stopped in the lawn outside of their downtown Bethlehem home next to the Moravian Church and asked her to marry him. They went for a celebratory drink at their favorite spot, The Red Stag. Evan told Joelle they had a dinner reservation for the two of them at Cavallo's Bistro and apologized for not being able to afford to bring their parents up to celebrate. Without a single suspicion, Joelle was escorted to the back room at Cavallo's only to be surprised by a crowd of her most favorite people. Surrounded by family and friends, the two had the most amazing night only to be topped off with a stay at the Inn at Cavallo's. It truly was a night to remember .
