Things To Do

We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.
Mesa Falls

Mesa Falls

Upper Mesa Falls, Island Park, ID 83420

Mesa Fall's is one of the most scenic waterfalls in the west. It separates the upper and lower Henry's Fork in dramatic fashion. Upper Mesa falls has a fee but is well worth it to walk the board walk right up to the edge of the falls. Lower Mesa falls is free and a quick pullout from the main highway. Both are worth your time. Don't forget to feed the fish at Warm River!

TroutHunter - Bar & Grill

TroutHunter - Bar & Grill

3327 U.S. 20, Island Park, ID 83429
, (208) 558-9900

Go sit on the patio at Trout Hunter for a lovely dinner and drink!

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park

30 Yellowstone Ave, West Yellowstone, MT 59758

We got engaged in Yellowstone so we highly recommend visiting the park! Summer traffic can and most likely will be brutal. Go before 7am to beat the morning rush. When exiting the park in the evening you can expect long delays at Madison Junction. It's only 30 miles from Old Faithful back to West Yellowstone but this drive can take two hours or more in evening traffic.

Book Peddler & Coffee Cafe

Book Peddler & Coffee Cafe

106 North Canyon Street, West Yellowstone, MT 59758
, (406) 646-9358

Book Peddler & Coffee Cafe is where Joelle first met Dan's parents!

Driggs

Driggs

Driggs, ID

Driggs is one of our favorite places to be in the summer months. We spend most of our time on the river, either fishing or paddle boarding! We also highly recommend eating the green beans at Teton Thai!

June's Place

June's Place

259 N Second E, Rexburg, ID 83440

If you're driving up past Rexburg, stop by June's Place for a coffee and treat! Rexburg is where Dan grew up!

Cave Falls

Cave Falls

WY

Visit the rugged Cascade Corner of Yellowstone. Dirt roads leaving the potato fields of Idaho will take you to a beautiful waterfall on the Falls River. This area of the Park is famous for hundreds of waterfalls, but besides Cave Falls you will have to hike to see most of them!

ATV/UTV Island Park

ATV/UTV Island Park

Island Park is world famous for snowmobiling in the winter, but it has miles of quality Off Highway trails in the summer too. There are many places to rent ATV's or UTV's from.

Buffalo River

Buffalo River

ID 83429

The Buffalo River is a small stream in Island Park that contains small brook trout. If you are looking for an easier place to fly fish, this would be a good option.
