Let's get this party started!

We met at a classmate's party and didn't think of it. Then a bunch of us went to karaoke after a long day of back-to-back classes and we both picked, "I'd Do Anything for Love." And it just clicked. He went low, I went high. There were fist pumps. We harmonized by accident. That's pretty much when we thought, " Okay, this could mean something."

Well, that may not actually be how it happened. In a similarly obscure way, the first day I met Joel he was wearing overall jorts welcoming in cars into a camp in Pennsylvania boondocks. The events that have brought us here from that day are nothing short of an act of God. Praise the Lord for his hand in this love story!

On one of our first dates, Joel asked me to describe "the perfect day". Little did I know he was saving those details to recreate a proposal over a year later. Ask us about our perfect day in Northern Michigan!
