Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! As we are lucky enough to already have a fully furnished home, we have decided not to register for traditional household items. If you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be warmly appreciated. We are setting sail on a European cruise and would love to create memories on shore excursions in Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, and Italy. Please know that gifts are not expected—we are just thrilled to celebrate with you!

Will there be a formal ceremony and reception?

Answer

We have decided to exchange vows in a private ceremony with just immediate family. We faced some budget limitations that prevented us from hosting a large formal wedding, but we didn't want that to stop us from celebrating with you. A BBQ allows us to bring everyone together to celebrate our marriage in a fun, relaxed way that fits our budget and our style.

Question

What should we expect for drinks?

Answer

As many of you know, we don't drink alcohol, so we’ve decided to have a dry celebration! We’ll be serving plenty of soda, lemonade, and water to keep the party going. Because of our venue’s strict liability policies, we kindly ask that no outside alcohol be brought onto the property. We can't wait to toast with you (lemonade in hand!) this October.

Will there be a sit-down dinner?

Answer

The dinner menu includes grilled chicken, fried rice, and grilled vegetables. We will also have pizza specifically for guests under 16. Cupcakes will be served for dessert.
