Lac Baker Municipal Park 99 Chem. de l’Île Lac Baker, New Brunswick, Canada E7A 1M8
You've been warned ;)
In lieu of a gift registry, engagement party/bridal shower, Jack 'n Jill, etc., we humbly ask that guests be prepared to purchase their own food on site for the evening via food trucks. There will also be a CASH bar available. *Please note that food truck vendors are able to take both Canadian and American cards and cash, and the bar will be (American or Canadian) CASH ONLY. We will have assorted beer, seltzer, coolers and non-alcoholic drinks (sodas, cider, water) available at our wedding. We will NOT be serving any liquor, wine, etc. Beers and alcoholic seltzers will be priced at $3 each.
Let us drive you! We will be offering a shuttle service from Edmundston to Lac Baker and back. Pick up/drop off locations will be at: Quality Hotel, Best Western Plus, and Four Points Sheraton; more info to come here soon!
Please dress comfortably! This is an "outdoor" venue that has concrete and crushed rock pathways. The layout will require semi-frequent trips outside to order food, get to the restroom, etc. Depending on the weather, (warm) layers and comfortable shoes are recommended.
Our *estimated* schedule is as follows: 4pm- Ceremony begins 4:30pm- Ceremony ends, Steph and Jo meet & greet 5:45pm- Announcements from Jo and Steph 6pm- First dance, dance floor opens, food trucks and bar opens (6pm-10pm- Dancing, eating, drinking, celebrating) 10pm- Venue closes; guests who are interested can take the shuttle to the after party at the casino
Yes! No matter the weather. (Brave for us to try that in Canada, in October, right?)
We would ask that our celebration remain adults only, please.
If you are traveling from the US, yes, passports are preferred! If you do not have a passport, you will need to present a valid photo ID *AND* your US birth certificate to the agents at the border. Please plan for it to take additional time crossing, especially if you have not crossed recently. For guidelines about crossing from the US to Canada, please visit the CBSA website: https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage/ivc-rnc-eng.html
Nope! But we do hope you'll join us :)
