Dress Code

Answer

The dress code for my Chantham Charthu/Mylanchi is pastel colors. We are not doing specific colors for each side, therefore we ask everyone to wear any shade of pastel. We do ask that you refrain from wearing kasavu/settu saree. For the wedding ceremony and reception, we request that our guests wear formal Indian or American outfits. The cocktail hour will be outdoors and the weather in early October should be pleasant but please bring a sweater or a small jacket just in case.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited space at our venue, we are not inviting plus ones. If your significant other is invited, their name will be listed on the invitation and RSVP list.

What time does the wedding ceremony start?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will start at 1 PM sharp so we request that all our guests arrive and be seated in the church no later than 12:45 PM.

Where can I park my car?

Answer

Engagement Ceremony (Thursday afternoon): Please park in the designated lot for the church Chantham Charthu/Mylanchi (Thursday evening): The Knanaya Rockland Center has a big lot with plenty of parking within. Wedding Ceremony (Saturday morning): Please park in the lot next to the church. If the lot is full, street parking is allowed. Wedding Reception (Saturday Evening): There is complimentary valet service. If you wish not to use the valet, please park in the designated lot. Hotels: Parking is complimentary for the hotels so please park your vehicle within the designated lot.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

There will be shuttle services that will take guests from the hotels to the designated wedding events. The shuttle schedules will be released closer to the wedding date.
