In order to help us best plan for the weekend, we kindly ask you to respond to your invitation by March 1, 2024.
Yes! However, although we would love for everyone to be able to attend the whole weekend, we are aware that everyone’s travel schedules may vary. Please let us know your travel details as soon as possible, as this will allow us to properly plan for the weekend.
Given the limited capacity of the venue and to ensure an intimate celebration with those closest to us, we have decided to limit the number of guests. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this joyous occasion with you.
To ensure that all of our guests can fully enjoy the wedding festivities and make the most of their time, we kindly request that this be an adults-only event. Thank you for respecting our wishes.
We will not be providing any transportation from the airport to the venue; however, we highly encourage using Ubers or the local taxi.
Yes, there is ample parking at the front of the château on the property. While it is not necessary for the weekend, please feel free to rent a vehicle if you would like to explore neighboring areas during your stay at Château de Goyet. Please refer to the “Accommodation & Travel” page for our recommendations.
We will be covering the majority of meals throughout the weekend, with the exception of our exploration time on Friday. We hope this will allow you to try local restaurants, explore the areas surrounding Château de Goyet, and learn more about the local culture.
Yes. As we will be providing a number of meals throughout the weekend, please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
We anticipate the weather in October in Belgium to be cool and potentially rainy on some days. To help you plan for the various festivities scheduled, we have included the dress code for each event taking place throughout the weekend on the “Schedule” page. For the rest of your stay in Belgium, we recommend packing warm layers (including a light jacket) and comfortable walking shoes for exploring the nearby cities. Additional items we recommend you bringing are a converter/adapter and euros for small purchases or areas that may not accept credit cards. Most importantly, please ensure that your passport and any necessary travel documents are valid.
We feel blessed to have you join us on our wedding day, and your presence is the greatest gift we can ask for. However, if you would like to send us a physical gift, you may browse through our registry that reflects our tastes and needs as we build our new home.
