This was after our first date!

One of our favorite dates is staying in, getting chinese food for dinner, and watching a good movie

We both got to go on a summer mission to Alsaka and went on a fun little hike with the group to see a waterfall

This was at the top of Flattop Mountain in AK!

There is of course lots of days out on the boat, don't let Joel fool you though Michaela usually catches more fish than him ;)

We had lots of car rides back home during the summers while we were long distance

We love watching the pretty summer sunsets out on the pond, maybe catching a fish or two

For Halloween last year we went as Vector from Despicable Me (the resemblance is uncanny) and the moon (since he stole Michaela's heart)

We went on a backpacking trip to Governor Dodge State Park for the weekend

This summer was the summer of weddings for us, always love having a cute date!

Had some fun nights at the ballpark (Joel might be a Brewers fan now)

We got to see our favorite artist Tyler Childers live for Joel's birthday (just a few months late)

We had a fun day traveling up the North Shore of Minnesota, this was at our favorite stop Black Beach

When Michaela first saw Joel's amazing set up and began to realize what was happening

The moment Joel got down on one knee and asked Michaela to marry him

The moment that things started to sink in that Joel just proposed

We wanted to recreate the picture of us from the concert since it's one of our favorites
