If you have time, Thomas Jefferson's home Monticello is our #1 recommendation of places to visit.   This is a 15 minute drive from downtown Charlottesville.

The downtown walking mall which is adjacent to our 2 main hotels is home to local shopping, restaurants, bars, movie theater, coffee shops, and provides a lot of local Charlottesville culture.

Hwy 151 in Nelson County is home to wineries, distilleries, breweries, and farms.  These are all located near Hazy Mountain winery where we will be having our wedding.  This is 30-45 minutes from downtown Charlottesville

There are multiple access points to The Blue Ridge Parkway and the hiking trails on the blue ridge within 30 mins to and hour from downtown Charlottesville

There are many access points in Charlottesville to get on the Rivanna Trail.  The trail is approximately 26 miles and will take you all around Charlottesville and the surrounding areas

This is a year-round farmer's market that is usually open on Saturdays.  It is located behind Three Notched Brewery and is about 1/2 mile from the Omni Hotel.

While you are in town, we suggest checking out the UVA Grounds, Rotunda and Lawn.  The campus AKA The Grounds is quite beautiful with some fun historical findings.  The Rotunda is about a mile down Main Street from The Omni.
