We met in 2013 during Italian Class at Emmanuel College. After a year of Joel asking Madison for the homework assignment everyday, we were assigned to work together on a group project & we've been together ever since!

First comes school, then comes marriage.

How We Met

Joel proposed in 2019 while we were snowshoeing up in Stowe, VT. We hiked up to a small chapel at the Von Trapp Lodge and Joel pretended to stop for a picture- that's when it happened! Anyone who's seen the video of the proposal can attest to the fact that Madison was quite surprised.
