We're getting Married!

Work in Calgary was slow, and I was sent down to Houston to help out our colleagues there. Joel and I sat across from each other in the office, but didn't start talking until December. It was a quiet day at work, and he asked what I would do in Houston. I told him all the things I did, by myself, and so he messaged me his phone number, offering his company. Things went on from there!

Neither of us wanted to get engaged in our home city, so we decided to do the proposal in Japan, as part of the Ho family vacation. We picked the Meiji Shrine in Tokyo for the beauty of the surroundings, and the historic significance.
