Madeline has been one of Kyla's best friends since high school when they bonded over boys being dumb and feasting on sweet treats to mend their mutual heartbreak. Since then, they've gone through moves together, multiple graduations, many dance parties, and so much more. Madeline currently resides in Orlando, FL while working at Disneyworld (and Kyla misses her dearly!) and will be traveling for the wedding.
Dillan Parse
Best Man
Dillan is Joel's cousin and childhood best friend. They spent a lot of time together growing up, playing in the dirt, fishing, playing video games, watching movies, etc. Dillan resides in Spokane.
Meredith Krous
Maid of Honor
Meredith, or as she's more affectionately known, "Mama Bear Mer" has been one of Kyla's best friends since high school. They've laughed together, cried together, and been there for one another's biggest moments in the last seven years. This wedding will be no different! Meredith is currently a teacher in Wenatchee, WA, and will be driving over for the wedding weekend.
Christian McKinney

Joel and Christian met through shared involvement in youth ministry at Shadle Park Presbyterian Church. Their educational lives at Whitworth briefly overlapped and they were roommates in the "ministry house" next to the church for several years. Christian was also there the day Joel and Kyla met, and helped Joel set up the proposal.
Journey Rutz
Bridesmaid
Journey is Kyla's cousin and dear friend. After Kyla moved to Spokane to attend college at Whitworth, she and Journey spent their summers together riding bikes, catching Pokemon, keeping each other up to date on memes and slang, and of course, attending their favorite event: Pig Out in the Park, a huge food festival in Spokane.
Brandon Gibson

Joel and Brandon have known each other since middle school, participating in youth group together. However, they really started to bond and become good friends when they lived in the "ministry house". Joel and Brandon share common interests in building and creating things. Brandon also helped with setting up the proposal!
Gwen Larned
Bridesmaid
Kyla and Gwen met in middle school, and became close friends a couple years later. The strength of their friendship has always been in their full acceptance of each other's differences and their ability to grow and continually inspire one another. Gwen has been a treasured "adventure buddy" for Kyla as they've explored San Francisco, Glacier National Park, and other PNW locations together. Gwen is currently living in Los Angeles, CA and will be traveling for the wedding.
Evan Durrant
Groomsman
Evan was actually Joel's youth group leader back in the day, and became an important mentor and friend. Now, they make beer together and Evan is responsible for Joels' love of whiskey. Fun fact: Joel and Kyla technically met outside Evan and his wife Courtney's house, because that's where she picked him up to carpool to the Eaton wedding.
Rebecca Schroeder

Rebecca is Joel's younger sister. Kyla and Rebecca have bonded over their love of all things Tangled, shared tastes in chocolate, memes, and their pin collections.
Jonathan Schroeder
Groomsman
Jonathan is Joels' younger brother. Their favorite activity is bickering , but Joel secretly loves him (and definitely approves of Kyla typing this). Jonathan is an avid Funko Pop collector and marimba player. He is thirteen years old and goes to school at The Enrichment Cooperative in Spokane.
Autumn Kelley Eaton

Kyla and Autumn met in a small group at Whitworth where they were struck by each other's vulnerability in sharing their "life stories". They both studied communication and theology together, sang in the gospel choir together, and ended up being roommates! Now, they both work at The Arc of Spokane and attend the same church, so basically, their lives are undeniably intertwined. Fun Fact: Kyla met Joel because of Autumn! Both were attending Autumn's wedding in July 2018 and Autumn asked Kyla to give Joel a ride. Kyla was also a bridesmaid in that wedding.
Jacob Eaton

Joel and Jacob met through church, and lived in the "ministry house" together along with Christian and Brandon. They bonded over shared interests like woodworking and disc golfing. As you probably know by now, Kyla and Joel met on the way to Jacob's wedding!
Lisa Bobb

Kyla and Lisa met at Whitworth when they were in the same friend circle. However, they didn't spend much time one-on-one and fell out of contact after graduation. Awhile later, they realized they worked for the same agency and quickly reconnected, realizing they had a lot more in common than they ever thought! Since then, Lisa has become a treasured local friend and support in Spokane.
Cody Parkins

Cody is Kyla’s little brother and original best friend. He and Joel bonded during a family trip to Disney. Cody is 21 years old and is taking college classes through Wharton University . He resides in Houston, Texas, and will be traveling for the wedding.
Susannah Judd
Bridesmaid
Kyla and Susannah met during their time at Whitworth and soon found themselves to be creative "soul sisters": spending hours writing songs together, having collaborative writing sessions, drinking gallons of coffee, and even becoming accountability buddies for workouts. Susannah has since moved to the west side of the state, so visits are fewer, but definitely still sweet. She'll be driving over for the wedding with her husband Caleb. Fun Fact: Kyla was a bridesmaid in Caleb and Susannah's wedding in 2017.
Jeff Parker

Joel and Jeff met through the church, and bonded through shared interests in car mechanics and creative endeavors. Jeff is a trusted mentor, landlord, mechanic, project buddy, and friend.
Jessie Parkins

Jessie is Kyla's younger sister and one of the sweetest humans to ever exist. She is 7 years old and lives in Houston, Texas.

Riley is Kyla's youngest sister at 4 years old. She is a wild child, and is really good at making people laugh. Riley also lives in Houston and will be traveling for the wedding.
