Joel and Kaitlyn's story began in August of 2019 when they met at a mutual friends house for a summer hangout. They instantly bonded over the shark week shirts that they both happened to be wearing that day. They exchanged snapchats and started talking everyday. A few weeks later Joel drove from West Chester to Sea Isle City to visit Kaitlyn, where the two ended up talking on the beach for hours, laughing and getting to know each other. It was so easy and natural, like they had known each other their whole lives. Throughout college, Joel and Kaitlyn spent weekends going back and forth between West Chester and Bethlehem, spending every moment they could together while being in separate cities. After graduating, they moved into their first apartment together in Bethlehem. In 2022, they got their crazy mini golden doodle, Dolly, and also got a house together in Center Valley. After what feels like a million home projects later - drywall, painting, flooring, landscaping, siding and so much more, Joel and Kaitlyn (and Dolly, although, without the consent of Mom and Dad) have created a space that they call their own. Their little white house in Center Valley is now filled with laughter, cozy nights, and of course, Dolly's endless energy (ok and maybe some chewed railing and scratched doors). In December of 2024, Joel surprised Kaitlyn with an engagement on their way to the Hotel Bethlehem. Little did Kaitlyn know, that both of their families were waiting at the Hotel Bethlehem to celebrate this unforgettable moment with them. Surrounded by their loved ones, it was the perfect start to forever. Joel and Kaitlyn can’t wait to celebrate with all of you, at the place that holds so much meaning to the both of them.
